Monroeville Literary Festival

Back to What's New

I am thrilled and honored to be the children's author presenting at the Monroeville Literary Festival March 1st & 2nd!

It will be inspiring to present my nationally acclaimed children's book, Let's Eat Snails! in the historic Monroeville Courthouse, made famous by Harper Lee's, To Kill a Mockingbird! As part of the festivities I have also been invited to speak with two local schools on February 29th! Click the link below for tickets and join in the fun!

Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2 Old Courthouse Museum • Monroeville, Alabama 251-575-7433 • MonroevilleLiteraryFestival.com

Join us in the courtroom made famous by To Kill a Mockingbird for captivating readings, enlightening discussions, amusing conversations and Monroeville's famous brand of hospitality. We're welcoming friends to discover new authors, celebrate favorite writers and share great times with others who love Southern literature. Alabama novelist Tom Franklin is this year's Harper Lee Award recipient, and Kim Cross receives the Truman Capote Prize. This year's food writer is James Beard Award winner John T. Edge. We're giving a special award to Tom Kelly, Alabama's legendary "poetlaureate of the turkey woods." Talks and readings are free. Paid tickets are required for the opening supper/reception and Saturday lunch.
