We couldn't resist sharing this photo of a larger-than-life snail — a humorous character, you'll agree — sent to us by Barbara Barcellona Smith. She discovered this sculpture at a shopping mall in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Smith is the author of a delightful illustrated children's book, titled "Let's Eat Snails!" NewSouth Books looks forward to publishing in 2021.
